Volunteer Job Description
Children ages 6-16.
You would be a Mentor / Big to a Little in one of our programs depending on your commitment. Community matches are a commitment of around 8 hours per month and In School Mentoring matches are 1 hour once a week.
Your role would be as a friend and role model to a child (age 6-16) who is interested in being a Little in our program.
All mentor applicants are thoroughly screened and trained prior to matching with a Little and would be an additional commitment in addition to the match time itself.

Frequency of InvolvementWeekly
1 hour once a week for In School Mentoring Program
Approx 6-8 hours per month for Community Program (2 hours a week)
Screening and training will take approx. 4-5 hours
'If you are matched in the Community Program then your meetings with be out in the community.
If you are matched in the In School Mentoring Program then your meetings will be at your Little's school
