Volunteer Job Description
As a part of our Friday nights, youth leaders would be a part of running the large group activities and facilitating discussion after the teaching time. As the year progresses, leaders will be challenged and equipped to grow in their abilities. It is our hope that youth leaders will be able to move beyond superficial relationship with the students and become a mentor figure for some students.
Our youth group is grades 7-12, so there is opportunity to find an age group that is a natural fit.
Immediately after youth group is over, we run our youth small group program from 8-9:30pm. It is separate from our youth group, through leaders who show aptitude and desire have the chance to be a small group co-leader as well.
Dates & Times
6:30 pm, Fridays. We meet every week, stopping for 3 weeks right around Christmas. There will be sporadic opportunities for longer events throughout the year, so getting 36 hours for the semester will not be a problem.
