Sports Minor (102 Credit Hours)

Program Description:
This 3 or 4 year program is designed for the person who would like to enhance his or her understanding of the Bible and related subjects. It is designed to equip you for a variety of ministry vocations with training specifically in discipleship and sports outreach. This Sports Minor allows considerable flexibility in the selection of ministry courses and it can serve as a basis for further education.

Program Objectives:

You should:

  1. learn how to integrate biblical principles for ministry through sports;
  2. develop leadership skills through recreation and sports that will enable you to teach and build into the lives of others;
  3. develop skills in an area of Christian service and sports ministry and be able to evaluate your role in each of these areas.
