General Position Description:

Beach Corner Church (BCEFC) is an intergenerational church with a desire to lead people in our community to passionately follow Jesus. We are seeking for an Associate Pastor of Student Ministries.  This is a full time position to begin in August.

Qualifications:

1. Personal
  • A person with a vital relationship with and experience as a disciple of Jesus who is committed to live a moral and exemplary lifestyle in keeping with Christian values.
  • Is in agreement with the EFCC Statement of Faith (www.efccm.ca).
  • Has the desire and ability to work with the church staff as a team and has a proven ability to involve others in planning, decision making, and ministry.
  • Has a teachable spirit, continuing to grow as a person and a leader through prayer, study, and personal development.
  • Demonstrates a disciplined and balance lifestyle including family life, consistent work habits, and personal growth, fitness, and relationships.
2. Values
  • Committed to missions both home and abroad with the intention of creating opportunities for students to be involved.
  • Desires to work along side and partner with parents of students involved in the ministry
  • Desires to see students passionately follow Jesus.
  • Values prayer as a vital part of all ministries.
3. Education and training
  • Post high school education and/or training essential
  • Bible/theological training an asset.
  • All ministry experience will be considered.
